Together, we can make a significant impact in education.Senior Quality Engineer - Job DescriptionAs a Senior Quality Engineer, you will play an important role in ensuring the quality of Turnitin's suite of products. You will work collaboratively in an Agile team, implementing and executing test plans throughout the software development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:- Defining and implementing quality assurance best practices and procedures for your team- Participating in various testing activities, including functional, regression, integration, and scale testing- Collaborating with your team to provide in-process testing results- Designing, executing, and maintaining automated and manual tests- Investigating and fixing issues reported by users- Tracking and verifying fixes for reported defects- Staying up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies**Qualifications**:To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience- Knowledge of front-end test automation best practices and tools- Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional Agile teams- Expertise in JAVA programming and creating frameworks- Experience with automated testing integration with tools like Jenkins and Bit Bucket- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes- Experience testing web services/APIs and automating them- Excellent organizational and communication skills- Proactive working style and adaptability to change- High proficiency in EnglishAdditional InformationAt Turnitin, our mission is to ensure the integrity of global education and improve learning outcomes.
