This role involves managing complex systems, ensuring optimal performance and security, and providing expert technical support to meet the evolving needs of our business.**Primary Responsibilities**:System Design and Implementation:- Design and implement new systems and solutions to support business operations.- Develop and manage system configurations and ensure compliance with company- policies.System Maintenance and Support:- Monitor and maintain system performance to ensure high levels of availability and- security.- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.- Conduct regular system audits and backups to ensure data integrity and availability.Infrastructure Management:- Manage and configure servers, networks, and storage solutions.- Implement and manage virtualization technologies and cloud services.- Ensure infrastructure scalability and redundancy to support business growth and- continuity.Security Management:- Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data.- Project Management:- Lead or participate in IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.- Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones.- Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.Vendor Management:- Manage relationships with hardware and software vendors.- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools.- Ensure that vendor contracts and service level agreements are met.**Other Roles and Responsibilities**:Collaboration and Training:- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.- Provide training and support to end-users and other IT staff.- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices.Documentation and Reporting:- Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and- policies.- Generate reports on system performance, incidents, and changes.- Provide recommendations for improvements based on analysis and reporting.**Required Skills**:Technical Proficiency:- Operating Systems: Expertise in Windows, Linux, and UNIX systems.- Networking: Knowledge of network protocols, routing, firewalls, and VPNs.- Virtualization: Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware.- Cloud Services: Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.- Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python,- Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef).System and Network Administration:- Ability to configure and manage servers, storage systems, and network devices.- Experience with backup and recovery solutions.- Proficiency in monitoring and performance tuning of systems and networks.Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve technical issues.- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.Communication and Collaboration:- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and provide clear technical- guidance to non-technical stakeholders.Documentation and Reporting:- Proficiency in creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation.- Ability to generate and analyze system performance and incident reports.Adaptability and Learning:- Willingness to stay current with the latest technologies and industry trends.- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes.**Minimum Education and Experience**:- **Language**:Must be fluent in English speaking, reading & writing. Spanish is a plus.- Minimum of 5 years of infrastructure technical experience- Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience in implementing leading-edge infrastructure technologies.- Professional certifications within infrastructure-related areas, while not a minimum requirement, would be highly desirable.**Job Types**: Full-time, ContractContract length: 12 monthsPay: From $38,476.00 per monthWork Location: Remote
