Local IT Intern for Computer Equipment Replacement

TasksAnalysis, implementation and execution of improvements for the process of computer equipment replacement.**>Preparation of computer equipment for replacements**:- Operating system load,- Installation of basic software- Docking and drivers configuration- Sending of special software to Portal Manager- Assignment of temporary administrator permissions- Download and install system patches- In special cases help with the backup of information- Registration of new equipment and removal of replacement equipment in the HPAM inventory system- Seal or label computer equipment removed from inventory- Run the scrap process weekly for outdated hardware- Keep a record of replacements executed up to date and send a weekly report.- Save all information of this project in a network route assigned by the person in charge.- Guide the user before and after the replacement in doubts related to their equipment.- Notification and follow-up to each user for the replacement of computer equipment.- Sending of esign for assignment and proof of delivery of replaced and obsolete computer equipment.- Management of purchases of computer equipment for replacement**Qualifications**:- Study background: System Engineering or regarding information technology.- IT Know How:**>Hardware**: Identify hardware components and devices, as well as understand their uses and connections.**>Operating systems**: Know the Windows OS installation and support processes, including command lines and user assistance.**>Networks**: Know the different types of networks and LAN and WAN connections.**>Hardware and networks**: Have knowledge to solve device and network problems.**>Other operating systems and technologies**: Know and understand the operation of Mac OS, Linux and iOs and Android operating systems.**>Operational processes**: Follow the best security practices, environmental impacts, communication and professionalism.- Other Skiils:Customer SupportSocial and communication skillsProblem resolution- Language: English (Basic level)About usContinental develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods.
