**Job Description Summary**: The Regional Category Sourcing Leader role is pivotal in driving regional strategy, productivity, and efficiencies through management of the Regional supplier base for the Category. The role supports region-based Sourcing leaders and collaborates with GEHC Global Sourcing Leaders, SBU Leaders, their teams, and other GE Business Sourcing Leaders for shared spend.The role will leverage in-depth knowledge to execute strategy in the region. Should be a leader with ability to hire and develop talent. Has knowledge of best practices, is aware of external competition and factors that differentiate them. Has ability to use data analytics and deploy out of box solutions.GE Healthcare is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator with over 100 years of healthcare industry experience and around 50,000 employees globally.**Key responsibilities include**:- Develops and maintains business productivity metrics for indirect sourcing in the region, ensuring their accuracy, identifying new areas of opportunity to drive cost out, implement operating efficiency and improve productivity.- Develop and implement Indirect Sourcing strategy, processes or GEHC policies for their Category for region in line with GEHC Global Sourcing initiatives. Ensure regional fit and incorporate business CTQ’s.- Owns achieving Indirect savings targets for Category across Region, leading, and owning project execution in their home geographical location. Will support project execution & escalation for projects managed by Regional Sourcing Leaders within their Category across the Region.- Responsible for risk management in the supplier base ensuring all compliance and quality standards are met.- Liaise with Regional Sourcing Leaders to share best practices and leverage expertise across the Category.- Identify and own pan (Region) and cross SBU supply base. Leverage Category buying power to maximize opportunities.- Drive business metrics affected by indirect sourcing. Identify new areas of opportunity to drive cost out, implement operating efficiency and improve productivity.- Provide feedback, coaching, training, and support to other Sourcing Leaders.- Collaborate with Global Category Leaders (GCL) on initiatives to ensure alignment with Global Strategy and interface between GCL & RSL’s across the Category. Has the ability to think Globally and work x-Region.- Drive compliance with Preferred Suppliers across the Region and work with RSL’s to reduce leakage**Quality Specific Goals**:- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required- Knowledge and understanding of GEHC Purchasing Controls Procedure and associated Work Instructions and operates within them to ensure that all purchased product and services conform to specified requirements.- Develop and maintaining of qualified and compliant supply base.Qualifications:- Formal sourcing qualification / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent)- 10 years relevant experience in a sophisticated sourcing environment with a minimum of 7 years commercial sourcing experience- Delivered cross border, cross SBU / Functional / Business savings, and / or initiatives projects- Ability to lead virtual teams- Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of timeDesired:- Master’s degree preferred- Tenacious, strong negotiator, good communicator at all levels and across different cultures.- Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments and targets.- Great stakeholder management - able to understand internal customers’ needs and CTQ's and deliver- Ability to thrive in a matrix environment and works well under pressure against multiple deadlines and CTQ's- Greenbelt or Black Belt certification preferred.- Graduate of GE leadership programsGE Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
