We’re fast-moving and results-oriented; we’re passionate about spreading solar energy as fast as humanly possible while having fun doing it.**About the position**The Business Analytics team is looking for someone to bring Bright to the next level by analyzing data to inform Bright’s ability to make educated business decisions. The BA Specialist will synthesize, assess and present internal and external key metrics and create reporting tools to inform Bright. The intention of this role is to enable Bright’s sustained growth by providing analysis, information and metrics, while also conducting research and supporting decision making.**We’re looking for someone who has**:**Required**:- **SQL for analytics **/ understand a data model (our data is stored in a SQL database)- **Proficient in Excel **/ Google Sheets (Microsoft Office in general)- Clear communicator who can quickly focus on what is important and prioritize accordingly- Superior analytical mind- Strong aptitude and ability and interest to quickly learn new capabilities- **Comfortable listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English** (in that order).**Preference will be given to some with**:- **Previous experience in data and business analytics**- Successful history of demonstrating positive impact on previous jobs using data- **Strong academic track record (e.g., GPA, etc.)**- Experience with or understanding of other tools **(e.g., Retool, HTML, etc.)**- Financial and/or business background (courses or work experience)- Proactiveness, and great decision-maker- Organization skills**Your tasks and responsibilities will be to:**- Build and update dashboards, tables and graphs with Bright’s operational and financial information- Maintain and make more efficient use of existing dashboards (e.g., periscope)- Create dashboards, analysis and reports for business decision making such as different products- Educate different Brighters on the data- Assist in creating materials for Bright’s monthly internal reporting, quarterly board meetings and quarterly investor updates- Participate in cross-department projects to ensure Bright’s sustainable growth**Your Key Results will be:**- Define a source of truth for Bright’s KPIs and different business data.- With the use of data, support Bright’s efficient use of its capital to wisely invest in the Company’s continued growth and its mission to delight customers with a best in market product suite of climate and customer friendly solutions.- Add value with the provided information for fundraising, lenders compliance, and/or business decisions.**Compensation / Benefits:**- Competitive compensation based on experience & results.- A fun, high-caliber team that trusts you and gives you the freedom to be brilliant.- The opportunity to learn first hand about the distributed generation market in México while being a part of one of the fastest-growing startups in the country.- Unparalleled learning - we have access to an amazing list of advisors and investors that we actively engage on this project.- Ability to work alongside and gain experience from working closely with mentors at Bright- Awesome work environment - all input and ideas matter to us.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: $22,000.00 - $25,000.00 al mesHorario:- Turno de 8 horasPrestaciones:- Aumentos salariales- Programa de referidos- Seguro de gastos médicos mayores- Seguro de la vista- Trabajar desde casa- Vacaciones adicionales o permisos con goce de sueldoEducación:- Licenciatura terminada (Obligatorio)Experiência:- SQL: 1 año (Deseable)Idioma:- Inglés (Obligatorio)
