We have been recognized as one of Inc 5000’s fastest growing companies in the U.S. for 13 years in a row, and as a result, our teams continue to grow as well What you'll do: Requires independent discretion for account verifications and approvals that help the business continue growing (Fraudulent accounts could result in millions of dollars in losses) Strong attention to detail when reviewing new client account information Working with other departments to help protect the company against fraud Independently onboarding, reviewing, and approving new accounts Create initial limits for accounts based on account review, work with Risk for adjustments Seeking out accounts that appear to be fraudulent and alerting management when necessary Collaborating with the other Underwriting team members in order to work most efficiently The last day of every month require additional attention to help the business continue to grow Customer account maintenance as needed Possessing positive, can-do attitude during busy times of the month About you: Bachelor's Degree required 1 year experience with the company preferred Minimum of 5 years work experience preferably in an underwriting capacity \"Can-do\" attitude that is always willing to go Above and Beyond their every day tasks Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to excel in a collaborative, team environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Diversity, equity & inclusion at 8am At 8am, we recognize that innovation occurs with a strong team of people who are diverse in background, personality, talent and ideas.
