**Summary of the position**Plan, organize, direct and run optimal day to day operations to exceed our internal and external customers expectations, weekly production schedule.**Resposabilities**Execute daily production schedules.Supervise staff members to ensure that deadlines are met.Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlinesMonitor production to resolve issuesSupervise and evaluate performance of production personnelResponsible for the day to day production plan and execution.Support the scheduling, planning and production control teamReview and improve the operational methods.Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staffAble to manage resources based on workload and flexibility to volume as required.Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-freeCommunicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting productionEvaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and mínimal downtimeEstablishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operationsSetting productivity goals for each manufacturing teamDeveloping workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or qualityEnsuring adequate scheduling of staffDetermine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)Ensure output meets quality standardsReport to upper management**Skills & Knowledge**A degree in business, engineering, management or a related field.Proven experience as production supervisorDeep knowledge of production in line or cell.Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulationsKnowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting conceptsExperience in reporting on key production metricsProficient in MS OfficeOutstanding communication abilityExcellent organizational and leaderships skillsAttention to detailStrong decision-making skills and a results-driven approachTeamworking skills3-5 years of experienceBilingual Spanish English - Preferred
