Software Development Snr Manager-22000D2H**Applicants are required to read, write, and speak the following languages***: English**Preferred Qualifications****Job Description**:**Responsibilities**:As a Senior Manager you will lead a Cloud Site Reliability Engineering team. You will possess demonstrated leadership and people management skills, strong communication skills, analytical skills, and thorough understanding of large distributed systems. You should be a distributed systems generalist, able to understand broad systems interactions, while being very hands-on, able to dive deep into any part of the stack and lower-level system interactions. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn. You will be responsible for providing direction and ownership for the team that you will establish and develop. You will also work with geographically distributed teams and contribute to the success of the overall organization.**Qualifications**:BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience1-4 years’ experience with people management and/or technical leadershipExperience building a team including recruiting, hiring, and performance managementOrganizational and planning skills including schedulingWorking familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and BASHKnowledge of distributed systems fundamentalsWorking familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architecturesStrong troubleshooting and performance tuning skillsStrong communication skills and team-oriented mindsetDesired QualificationsExperience with JIRAExperience with change control management and mature operating processesExposure to structured environments such as Terraform or Ansible**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
