Scope:- Take responsibilities of implementation and actively contribute in all phases of project. Display Transportation domain knowledge in TMS solution or of Other market Players pertaining to Transportation to understand how the BY solution can be configured and delivered to better facilitate customer business processes.- Knows the standard workflows involves around Transportation suite of products.- Assist SA /Look at various angles of a Problem to identify the root cause to solve a Variety of problems. Promotes the same outlook in the Team.- Volunteers for new challenges and eager to learn and challenge himself for new tasks as well build a network outside the immediate Team and encourage an atmosphere where team can thriveWhat you’ll do:- Serves as a functional liaison and attends and contributes to key meetings between Project Manager, Solution Architects, PD, key customer contacts, and customer users, up to and including key executive project sponsors- Ensure knowledge transfer is conducted with key customer project team and participates in requirement Elicitation.- Communicates business cases to PMG and PD regarding customer specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements- Interacts with Product Management Group & Product Development Team regarding new releases and new functionality and act as the liaison to communicate to the rest of the team- Work with Operate team/adapts to service delivery model to make Customer Stable post go-live and venture towards value realization.- Conducts functional analysis sessions with clients and/or the project team to understand the functional needs of the client and develops functional solutions to meet those needs.- Provide variety of functional support to the project team; including quality assurance/design review, environment setup, software installation, configuration, report and label generation, operation consulting, troubleshooting, system testing & programming.- Responsible for services delivery of product implementation and related integration.- Works as a member of a consulting team on product implementation, enhancement, managed services, integration, custom projects either at the customer site or offshore.What we are looking for:- 3 to 8+ Years of experience. Experienced can be lesser if knowledge of BY TMS has been acquired in previous Implementation projects.- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant discipline.- Basic knowledge of usage of ORACLE/MS SQL and familiarity towards SOAP /REST APIs.- Displays sound knowledge on BY TMS API and actively participates in integration discussions.- Expertise in functional configuration of TMS product, Solution Integration, Quality Assurance, System Testing and Optimization Design.- Hands-on Experience on Functional configuration of TMS product (preferably BY/i2 TMS) or other leading Market Players.- Basic Knowledge on interfaces between TMS and ERP/Host, WMS from 3PL, Shippers perspective.- Parcel Handling, INTTRA Integration are plus.- Can pick up or work with ease in Tariff Modelling, Load building, TMS Financials and standard workflows of Implementation. Knowledge around Optimization is a plus.- Ability to resolve complex problems with mínimal guidance as an Individual contributor effectively and efficiently.- Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, Partners and BY Team members.- Strong proactive communicator and presenter, able to influence and collaborate at all levels of an organization to maximize problem resolution. Nice to have good presentation skills using Excel, PowerPoint.- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle project situations.- Should be a strong team player and believes in sharing the knowledge at all given opportunities.- Contributes to the growth of the functional consulting practice by developing and maintaining practice aids, databases, best-practice collateral.- Ensures compliance with the following internal and external company policies and procedures: Company project methodology On-time submission of Time, Travel and Expenses report Company procedures related to travel and expenses- Skill set and availability requirements as per the organization's needs- Provides guidance to Support Services in responding to base functional issues.- Understanding of Database structures (ORACLE/MISCROSOFT).
