If you’re looking for a challenge and meaningful role, you’re in the right place.Dow Chemical has an opportunity for a Latin America North Region Logistics Sourcing Manager, located in Sao Paulo, Brazil.**Responsibilities**:- Develop, adapt, and implement the purchasing strategy in the region.- utilizes business acumen and analytics to drive value from the market, influence stakeholders and vendors- Be responsible for the negotiation, execution and implementation of commercial agreements and related work processes in accordance with the strategies within the commercial area and/or geography.- Manage supplier performance facilitating complex problems-solutions.- Leverage supplier relationship management and drive decisions according to market conditions, ESG elements, such as Sustainability, Inclusion and Diversity, Innovation and Digitization.- Lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives locally or globally.- Act as a reference for colleagues with less experience, guiding and collaborating with their learning and development.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field like Supply Chain, Purchasing, Business Administration, etc.- Fluence in English is mandatory, Spanish is a plus.- 5+ years of industrial experience (Logistics, Purchasing).Preferred Skills:- Excellent Data Management skills in a fast-paced environment.- Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills.- Proven ability and experience to work with and influence multiple functions and businesses stakeholders is appropriate for success in the role.- Works independently, receives mínimal guidance and directionTo apply:- Sign in or create your account.- Make sure your resume is accessible.
