A Fender is more than an instrument, it's a cultural symbol that resonates globally.We are searching for a **Buyer **based **at Ensenada**. **In this role, you will be responsible for purchase materials from approved and qualified suppliers with sufficient lead time to prevent material shortages, expedite materials and provide solutions of any problems in relation of delivery dates for materials at risk.**Essential Functions**:- Purchase materials from approved and qualified suppliers with sufficient lead time to prevent material shortages.- Expedite solutions of any problems that arise in relation to delivery date, quality, and quantity of purchased commodities.- Review with suppliers any problems that could cause company losses (quality, delivery delays, etc.)- Assist to clear payment issues on suppliers invoices.- Responsible to keep the KPI´s of the department on target.- Responsible to keep the inventory value on target.- Responsible to run the purchase requisitions report and place purchase orders with suppliers.- Keep on target the DOS for the purchase materials.- Additional duties as assigned**Qualifications**:- Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Industrial Engineer, or equivalent experience- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a procurement position or similar- MRP system knowledge, preferably SAP- Microsoft Office Suite- Strong sense of integrity- Excellent communication and analytical skills- English 80%**About Fender Musical Instruments**:
