**PLASMAN****Solicita**:**PURCHASING COMMODITY MANAGER****Descripción y Requisitos****PURCHASING COMMODITY MANAGER****RESPONSIBILITIES**- Receive and interview supplier representatives to keep abreast of market developments, issue request for quotes, quotation analysis, negotiate cost and prices, service, quality, or other matters.- Ordering and quoting of capital items- Develop and investigate new sources of supply, make effective recommendations as to their approval.- Work with Corporate Supplier Quality Manager to develop existing suppliers and new suppliers based on commodity strategies.- Identify cost savings opportunities for commodities, develop and execute to meet or exceed annual targets- Maintain effective liaison with all departments concerned to present alternatives offered by supplier’s modification of design, standardization of parts or materials.- Review and monitor supplier performance data and follow up with regular reviews internally and with suppliers as prescribed- Maintain cost records pertaining to purchasing technical analysis on selected commodities.- Provide forecasts to suppliers to allow for appropriate material projections.**EDUCATION& EXPERIENCE**- Bachelor's Degree in Administration or International Business.- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing or similar.- Master Degree**ABILITIES AND SKILLS*****- Experience in plastics- Ability to perform well in high pressure situations- Possess sound financial and business insights- Capable of independent travel to, from and within designated regions- Access to reliable transportation- Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal- Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment- Must be able to be a leader to all employees- Schedule availability- Bargaining power- Advanced (English)Puesto: Administracion**Información Adicional**- Tipo de contrato: Permanente- Salario: Negociable- Pais: MEXICO- Estado o Region: Chihuahua- Ciudad: Ciudad Juarez
