Product Systems Data Analyst

We are hiring a- You will be part of an exciting global team to play an important role in preparing our organization for future business transformation now, by helping reinvent how we create and manage our data in the next generation PIM platform for Steelcase Enterprise. From implementation to maintenance, you will play a vital role in helping our organization navigate the dynamic landscape where you will spearhead change initiatives, cultivate adaptability, and drive successful transitions for our teams.**What You Will Be Doing**Envisions, implements, and supports solutions (technical or non-technical) to resolve business problems or to capitalize on business opportunities by:- Consulting with one or more internal client groups, such as marketing, engineering, and product database support, along with customer experience advocates to understand data needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.- Assists in development of business requirements (process), information requirements (data), and constraint requirements (rules).- An understanding of product data structures, attributes, and taxonomies is important to effectively create and organize repositories in a PIM tool.- Contributing toward/enabling client organization’s continuous improvement efforts by providing ‘run the business’ IT technology support and enhancements.- Web API development and management.- Create and configure repositories within the PIM tool, including data structures, attributes, taxonomies, and hierarchies, based on business requirements.- Perform data cleansing, data standardization, and data enrichment activities within the PIM tool to maintain data accuracy and consistency.- Develop and implement data governance processes, including data validation rules, to ensure adherence to data quality standards.- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate the PIM tool with other systems, such as e-commerce platforms or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, for seamless data exchange.- Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively utilize the PIM tool for data entry, maintenance, and retrieval.- Conduct regular audits and assessments of the repositories to identify and resolve data quality issues or inconsistencies.- Communicate and present effectively with peers inside IT organization and stakeholders prototypes of repositories and quickly understand, adapt and embrace new requirements.- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to PIM tools and product data management.**Who You Are**:**Required Skills and Competencies**- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management, or a related discipline.- Proven experience in managing product data and creating repositories within a Product Information Management (PIM) tool.- Advanced English is a must.- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar) is a MUST.- Experience in data analysis, data modeling and ERD’s.- Database management, data formats (XML/JSON), and integration capabilities (APIs).**Preferred Skills and Competencies**- Agile Methodology knowledge or practice is a plus.- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.- Experience in collaborating with stakeholders, such as product managers, marketing teams, and IT professionals, to understand data needs.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex findings and prototypes to technical and non-technical peers and stakeholders.- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.- Demonstrated adaptability in navigating ambiguous situations, swiftly adjusting to evolving requirements and finding innovative solutions to complex challenges.- Be open to different approaches and strategies as the organization transitions from implementation-focused work to maintenance.- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.**Why People Choose to Work With Us**:At Steelcase, we put people at the center of everything we do.
