QHSE Advisor Offshore page is loaded## QHSE Advisor Offshorelocations: Mexicotime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R # **Role Summary**Responsible for supporting the QHSE Department with Borr Drilling Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental strategies and activities including safety programs and interventions within the Regions. This role is responsible for implementing the company’s QHSE vision and culture and ensuring compliance on Rigs within the Region. This role is also responsible for collaborating with operations and support functions across the Region to ensure compliance to internal/external QHSE requirements and to promote a best in industry QHSE performance and culture.# # **Responsibilities*** Using company resources and support, manage own visa applications, plan, book and confirm own travel and liaise with Corporate and Regional Management regarding deployment / arrival dates, in country meet & greet, accommodation and transport to specific rigs.* Supports the QHSE Department and Region with QHSE initiatives and improvement plans within the fleet.* Take a proactive role in encouraging safe working practice, support Corporate QHSE and Region/Rig Management with implementing Borr Management System (BMS) and support training programs where necessary.* Focus on observing jobs to verify that work is executed in line with the Work Instruction / Hazard Analysis and Pre-job Safety Meeting (PJSM).* Promote major accident hazard awareness to the workforce.* Conduct regular compliance monitoring of Borr Management system and associated major accident hazard barriers, legal and other requirements through internal audits, inspections, and hazard hunts.* Identify improvement opportunities and ensure areas identified for improvement are formalized by means of Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs) and track to closure.* Participation and provide input into investigations, QHSE meetings, pre-tour meetings, risk assessments, toolbox talks, permit to work reviews, site inspections, Behavioural Based Safety systems and other general rig processes.* Share good practice across industry sectors in order to learn and implement lessons from relevant incidents occurring internally and externally to the organization.* Participate and/or witness emergency drills and oil spill response exercises, provide coaching assistance as required.* Coach, observe and mentor the Safety Performance Coaches onboard each Rig on the Borr Management System and best practice. Provide feedback to QHSE Department and Region Management with competency and skills development improvement opportunities.* Actively monitor, influence, coach, and support Rig Managers/OIMs, workforce and 3rd parties across the fleet to support HSE leadership and culture change.* Assist OIM and other key supervisors during Management by Walk Around (MBWA) and coach supervisors in MBWA techniques.* Promoting and supporting hazard identification and facilitating risk reviews as necessary to ensure hazards are identified, risks are assessed, eliminated, or adequately controlled at a level as low as reasonably practicable.* Provide end of trip handover; including progress against agreed activities - distribute report to relevant parties.* Take personal responsibility for own continued professional development and undertake any training as required.* Perform any other QHSE tasks as requested by Corporate or Regional QHSE teams.# # **Qualifications and Experience*** NEBOSH (or similar organizations), Diploma or International General Certificate preferred* Trained in industry recognized Investigation methodology. (Such as Taproot, Kelvin Topset, COMET)* Lead auditor or audit team member at ISO Standard preferable* Offshore medical (OGUK) BOSIET and HUET)* Previous experience in a similar role is a must* Extensive experience in an offshore drilling environment* Excellent communication skills: Fluency in written and spoken English required* International working experience is an advantage.* Experience with HSE investigations, preferably as a team Lead Investigator* Must have Leadership, Teamwork, Communication, Creativity, Planning, Listening and interpersonal skills* Sound understanding of Major Accident Hazards and Process Safety* Should have a good presentation skill to conduct HSE Awareness training sessions.* Capable of acquiring, analyzing and providing feedback on legal, technical, and regulatory information* Flexibility to work under pressure, responding to changing requirements and focus* Be structured and able to work independently* Represent the Company in a professional manner both on and off the job to include confidentiality of Company and Client business* Solid IT skills including MS Office #J-18808-Ljbffr
