**About us**We are an European-based automotive supplier with headquarters in Germany. We already produce our products at four locations worldwide. We are now looking for committed employees who would like to build up our new plant in Silao, Mexico with us.**Main activities and key responsibilities**- Incoming goods inspection & goods issue_- Creation of incoming goods inspection plans- Inspection, blocking and release of articles at goods receipt, goods issue and during tests accompanying series production- complaints & supplier management_- Processing of supplier and customer complaints and their communication- Responsibility for recourse against suppliers- quality assurance in production_- Regular production inspections to ensure internal and customer-specific quality requirements- Documentation and analysis of production scrap to optimize quality- Participation in ensuring the customer's quality requirements- Participation in quality improvement measures- Test & measuring equipment management_- Monitoring and procurement of test and measuring equipment- Documentation & approvals_- Creation of documents for customer sampling, special approvals and purchase requisitions- Release of purchase requisitions after inspection- Warehouse & material management_- Management of the blocked parts in warehouse- Implementation of scrapping requests- Process & production support_- Participation in production rounds and internal process series and approvals**Qualifications**- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent- ideally 1-5 years of relevant experience- Experience in a manufacturing company, ideally in the automotive industry, is required- Knowledge of IATF and other international quality standards for the automotive industry and other sectors is an advantage- Knowledge of Problem Solving Methods such as 8D, 5 Why, 6 Sigma is an advantage- Knowledge of elementary product and manufacturing processes such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA is an advantage- Conversational English (advanced level) is required, ideally also conversational German- Service orientation, organizational talent, high degree of teamwork, good communication skills, problem-solving skills**What we offer**- Opportunity to be part of the start-up of a new plant- Get insight in core processes of a manufacturing plant and its infrastructure- Receiving deep technical and technological know-how by experienced colleagues in the HQ and European plants- Training on the job- You get the opportunity to develop yourself into a leading role in the company (Head of Quality Assurance or similar)- We can offer you a fair salary and gradual increase going hand-in-hand with your personal developmentPay: $14,332.26 - $28,287.18 per month**Experience**:- IATF and other international quality standards: 2 years (preferred)- Problem Solving Methods such as 8D, 5 Why, 6 Sigma: 2 years (preferred)**Language**:- English (preferred)Work Location: In person
