Flex is the diversified manufacturing partner of choice that helps market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products that improve the world.We believe in the power of diversity and inclusion and cultivate a workplace culture of belonging that views uniqueness as a competitive edge and builds a community that enables our people to push the limits of innovation to make great products that create value and improve people's lives.Job Summary- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _Product Engineer_ located in Guadalajara, North Campus._- Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, Product Engineer role involves responsibility for receiving, analyzing, cleaning, and customizing all technical _information/documentation_ from the customer related to his product, derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) or a design change in order to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining the mass production product._What a typical day looks like:- _ Handle product transfer and new product set up._- _ Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on production line._- _ Suggest improvements to process to obtain improved quality and production yield._- _ Solve product related problems and perform failure analysis related to product issues._- _ Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues - engineering changes, new model development._- _ Work with design team to resolve design related issues._- _ Suggest modification to work instructions, material or product changes to ensure superior quality of products._- _ Customer´s Bill of Material (BOM) analysis and structure definition for production._- _ Functional Product Documentation review._- _ Safety Requirements and regulations compliance identification._- _ Engineering Drawings Interpretation of individual parts and assemblies._- _ Request customer for drawing corrections, additions, clarification, measurements methods._- _ Lead Engineering Changes Implementation._- _ Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM), tolerance analysis, Design of Experiment (DOE), form-fit-function to determine failure root/cause analysis and reporting to customer._- _ Provide support to supply chain to integrate parts derived from the vertical integration or localization effort._- _ Provide product training to the _manufacturing/process_ engineers for better understanding of the product._- _ Request, handle and administrate golden samples, engineering samples of final product and/or piece parts_- _ Establish, operate and maintain a standard method for technical information interchange with the customer to control and preserve information of NPI transferred projects_- _ Analyze and determine course of action of Product Change Notification (PCN) and Manufacturing Change Order (MCO)._- _ Ability to take additional responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer depending on the size and complexity of the customer product._- _ AML/MPN management (validate packaging/spec to use in SMT process)._- _ Participate in cost reduction activities in areas such as material, inventory, and waste reduction._- _ Configure new top levels into traceability system_- _ Run NPI/FAI validations_- _ Management of work meetings._- _ BOM´s management._- _ Engineering change management and implementation._The experience we’re looking to add to our team:- _BA/BS or equivalent work experience._- _NPI experience_- _Advanced english_- _Experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment._- _Product Engineering experience within electronical components._- _Extensive knowledge in SMT/PTH/PRESSFIT._- _Experience in product lifecycle systems (Agile)_- _Experience in the use of Floor shop systems._- _Experience in ECO's implementation._- _Knowledge in creation and reading of Bill of Materials (BOMs)._- _Knowledge in assembly processes (End to End)._- _Experience in BAAN system (SAP)._What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:- Competitive Salary.- Life & Medical insurance.- Christmas Bonus.- Food Coupons.- Saving Fund.IS81Job CategoryProduction Engineering**Required Skills**:Optional Skills:
