**Forvia?**Forvia is an Equal Opportunity Employer**Your position and environment?**Our **Faurecia Automotive Seating - North America Seating Division** is looking for you as a **Program Buyer **M/F for our site in** Puebla Headquarters, México.****Your role and responsibilities?**The role of the Program Buyer is to anticipate the specific requirements for new programs (supplier technologies, geographical location and target costs), ensure the commodity panel strategy is appropriate to support the program, select and pilot suppliers from the agreed supplier panel in order to achieve Program objectives. The Program Buyer belongs to the core program team.**Essential responsibilities & duties**The main missions of the role are to:- Ensure supplier selection from the agreed supplier panel: identify and consult suppliers, manages supplier RFQ based on panel given by the Commodity Buyers. Negotiate or participate with the Commodity Buyers in supplier negotiations and in the final choice of supplier.- Track performance during the program phase: manage suppliers, compare costs with objectives, ensure quality during the program phase, respect delivery deadlines and in particular ensure that the program phase reviews are supported within the framework of the Faurecia PMS.- Ensure early involvement of the Series Buyers in the program before the series phase.- Manage specific mandated suppliers when requested and agreed with customers.- Negotiate Engineering Change Requests.- Lead the global steering and sourcing committee meetings for the program and ensure that the purchasing assumptions are optimized on a global basis, considering local and global sourcing options and selecting the option with the best landed cost and performance.**Qualifications****Minimum education level**:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, or applicable work experience**:**Experience**:- Minimum 5 to 8 years experience including a program buyer or program manager experience in an industrial environment- Experience working in an international environment**Skills & Competencies**:- Understanding of product design, development and production launch processes- Knowledge of supplier cost structures- Understanding of purchasing commodity strategy- Strong written and oral presentation skills- Good planning, organization and project management skills- Ability to work in a matrix organization- Global leadership of a functional team
