Program Launch Engineer

The Program Launch Engineer is responsible for coordinating and executing the introduction ofnew products from design through to full-scale production. This role ensures that new productsmeet all manufacturing, quality, cost, and timeline requirements. The engineer will work cross- functionally with design, quality, production, and supply chain teams to ensure a smooth andsuccessful product launch.Key Responsibilities:Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams during new product introduction (NPI) andproduct launch phases.Support and direction on CNC/Swiss/Davenport/ACME machiningDevelop and maintain project timelines and deliverables to meet launch targets.Review and validate design for manufacturability (DFM) and support engineeringchanges as needed.Plan, develop, and implement manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment for newproducts.Support process capability studies, PFMEAs, and other quality assurance activitiesthrough Quality personnel.Support prototype builds and pre-production runs, capturing feedback and implementingimprovements.Interface with suppliers to ensure readiness of materials, components, and tooling.Monitor and report on project status, risks, and mitigation plans.Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety requirements, customerrequirements, and company procedures.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or relatedfield).CNC and or Swiss Machining experience3+ years of experience in product launch, process engineering, or manufacturingengineering.Experience with CAD tools, GD&T, and production documentation (e.g., workinstructions, BOMs).Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and other quality and launch methodologies.Strong project management and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.Preferred:Experience in machining and machining methodology.Proficiency in ERP and PLM systems.Six Sigma or PMP certification is a plus.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoIdioma:- Inglés (Deseable)Lugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
