As a **Quality Control Specialist,** you will be responsible for coordinating tasks of the Quality Control Subprocess according to the procedures and other documents established in the Management System to guarantee the correct analysis service and information of results; as well as determining the conformity or non-conformity of materials and products.This position reports to the Quality Control Manager**Key Responsibilities**- Determine or update the sampling plan for materials and products in their different presentations or stages of the process- Update material and product standards to ensure their validity,- Guarantee that laboratory equipment is maintained with current calibration and in usable condition.- Validate analysis results for the release of materials and products, to ensure their reliability and the continuity of production processes- Lead problem-solving analyses to address non-conforming products, internal/external claims, and promote a culture of operational excellence within the team.**Qualifications**- Bachelor's/Engineering degree- Experience 2 or more years- Intermediate EnglishYou will have benefits: Health Insurance, Life Insurance.**About us**:**PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD****The PPG Way**Every single day at PPG:**We partner with customers to create mutual value.****We are "One PPG" to the world.****We trust our people every day, in every way.****We make it happen.****We run it like we own it.****We do better today than yesterday - everyday.**Benefits will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process.PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
