**Reports to**:Financial Controller with parallel reporting to the CTO**Key Responsibilities****Infrastructure & Systems Management**- Manage network architecture (VLANs, routing, firewalls) and oversee server, hardware, and software performance.- Work with CTO and Controller to administer databases and manage secure access across Mexico operations.- Support automation, system integration, and cloud migration efforts.- Maintain IT equipment inventory and oversee asset rotation.- Monitor system performance and optimize infrastructure for reliability.- Document infrastructure changes and maintain access logs.- Support CTO with development of security policies.**Cybersecurity & Compliance**- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols; respond to incidents and improve processes.- Enforce standards for passwords, access, and secure system usage.- With direction from the Controller, ensure compliance with the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data.- Support internal and external audits related to IT systems and data security.- Train users on security protocols and responsible system usage.- Handle sensitive information with discretion.**Business Systems, Data & Strategic Support**- Learn and champion the use of ERP systems in Mexico.- Identify and implement technology improvements to optimize business processes.- Support new system rollouts and IT initiatives under CTO direction.- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve a wide range of technical issues and fulfill requests.- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans with CTO and Controller.- Be intentional about finding solutions - whether by own effort or finding the right vendor.- Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.- Assist the Controller and CTO with special IT/IS projects.- Cross train with and support other team members.**Qualifications**- **Education & Experience**- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems, or related field.- 4+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, systems management, and cybersecurity.- Certifications to remain current in IT field a plus.- Experience with network architecture (VLANs, routing, firewalls).- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration.- Familiarity with database administration (Access, Oracle, SQL)- Understanding of data protection regulations and compliance standards.- **Skills & Characteristics**- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage processes and projects, and deliver results effectively.- Demonstrated ability to research, learn, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.- Discreet and responsible handling of sensitive information.- Team-oriented with willingness to cross-train and support others.- Patient when explaining technical concepts and training others.- **Physical Demands**- Availability to work some weekends- Willing and able to travel (50% expected during year 1, especially Feb-Aug; reduced but ongoing in subsequent years).- This position requires that you be able to work with a computer, sometimes for extended periods.
