Through our two business segments, Acuity Brands Lighting and Lighting Controls (ABL) and the Intelligent Spaces Group (ISG), we design, manufacture, and bring to market products and services that make a valuable difference in people’s lives.You may utilize this posting to upload your resume and information.**Job Summary**:Responsible for product quality and customer satisfaction, as well as supporting production lines to facilitate product assembly.**Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)**:- Ensure the correct implementation of engineering changes on the production floor.- Reduction of Customer Complaints- Realization of visual aids for quality controls.- Generate quality-related waivers (sharepoint) (ECO validations, etc.)- Administration of personal auditors and quality technicians.- Find and suggest improvements in the product to facilitate the whole and increase productivity.- Comply with requirements to process documentation and controls to meet the required standards.- Support and participation in continuous improvement events (Kaizen, JDI, 6 Sigma, A3, 4 Box, ETC)- Monitoring of identified actions derived from continuous improvement activities.- Participation in filling out KPIs, measurement and control systems of the Visual Management of your area.- Carry out your applicable procedures and/or work instructions.**Education (minimum education required)**:- Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineer**Preferred Skills and Experience**:- 3 + years of experience in similar roles- Experience in the electronics area (component assembly)- Experience in people management- Experience in FMEA / Product Spec / Test Spec- Experience in Solving Problem Techniques (A3, 8D, DMAIC)- Experience in Customer Complains- Experience in Quality Management System- Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI)- Experience in Experience in Administration, Engineering.- Experience on floor and manufacturing plant environment- Education: electronic engineering / mechanics**Travel Requirements**:**Other**:We value diversity and are an equal opportunity organization.
