We specialize in delivering end-to-end technology services, including IT consulting, managed services, and custom software development.**Job Overview****Expected Start Date**: October 15th, 2024**Location**: Mexico City; 2 days onsite at Lexis Nexis, 3 days remote.**Hours of Work**: 8 hours per day, during regular office hours.**Compensation**: Competitive market salary with applicable benefits..**Contract Terms**: Fixed-term contract for the first 6 months, with the possibility of full-time employment with Lexis Nexis thereafter.**Responsibilities**:- Manage data assets, including training and evaluation datasets, and build pipelines for legal document data.- Collaborate with legal experts to ensure models meet specific needs and drive continuous improvements through experiments and performance evaluations.**Requirements**:- Must have strong communication skills and proficiency in English.- Must have practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning.- Formal training in machine learning techniques and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers.- Proficiency in Natural Language Processing (NLP) with libraries like spaCy, word2vec, and BERT.- Strong Python skills and knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).- Experience with data modeling, relational and NoSQL databases, and vector stores.- Familiarity with distributed computing systems, API development, containerization, and ML Ops/AI Ops is highly preferred.**Preferred Qualifications**:- MS in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or a related field is preferred.We look forward to helping you take the next step in your career**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract, PermanentContract length: 6 months**Experience**:- DATA SCIENTIST: 8 years (preferred)**Language**:- English (preferred)**Location**:- 06600, Ciudad de México, CDMX (preferred)Work Location: Hybrid remote in 06600, Ciudad de México, CDMXApplication Deadline: 27/09/2024Expected Start Date: 15/10/2024
