If you’re looking for a career where you can make a real impression, join GSC HSBC and discover how valued you’ll be.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of**Senior Third Party Risk Manager - Americas**The purpose of this role is to manage and deliver a variety of third party management projects and support day-to day risk management, ensuring that Global Operations meets its delivery commitments. The role holder will work primarily with colleagues across Global Operations, Third Party Management and Risk to ensure delivery of projects on time and to the required standard.**Main activities**- Supports the Global & LAM TPROs in relation to global and regional TPRM related matters- Support to Canada in relation to internal and external third party management- Provides risk management support and oversight of Third Party Risk related activities and issues- Supports the implementation of the Group Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Policy and Framework within the Region- Responsible for managing and delivering a variety of projects within Global Operation’s Cost and Supplier Management team.- Support the Third Party Risk Officers in the ongoing monitoring and expediting of overdue TPM tasks- Identify and implement improvements to the process for monitoring and managing third party engagementsRequirements**Knowledge and experience**- Relevant experience of successfully managing third party risk management activities or supplier / contract management or procurement- Relevant experience in Operations or in a directly related business/function in addition to successful experience in leading a team- Experience of working for a large, complex global organisation and of supporting multiple countries- A good understanding of Risk Management best practices- A good understanding of the business services provided within Operations, the goods / services, third parties and contracts used, how they support the business operation and their level of criticality.**Capabilities**- Excellent planning, organizing skills including project management capability- Strong influencing / coaching skills- Excellent stakeholder management experience, especially impactful communication, influencing stakeholders and benefits realization- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail combined with a strong delivery focus and ability to meet aggressive timeframes with quality results- Fluent English- Report writing, interpretation of data and production of management information- Microsoft Office skills - particularly Excel- Change and Implementation Management- Risk and Issues Management- Problem solving and Critical Thinking- Experience of matrix managementQualifications and Accreditations- Risk Management / Supply management / Procurement Qualification- Relevant eduational qualification in accordance with local requirementsYou’ll achieve more when you join HSBCAt HSBC we offer our colleagues a greater number of days so that they can fully enjoy their wedding, take care of the new member of the family, or grieve the loss of a family member.
