OverviewJob Title: Change ManagementLocation : Guadalajara, MexicoJob Description:**Tasks**:- Identifies and manages existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role.- Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.- Follows written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities.- Independently applies and executes the execution of established Change and Release process and procedures to all assigned initiatives.- Through drift monitoring, identifies conflicts of configuration and coordinates with customers to remediate or develop alternate approach.- Facilitates change requests meeting with change requester to to review, audit and ensure change requests meet regulatory standards.- Defines and manages release readiness and success criteria based on business requirements.- Consults on appropriate rigor of review based on the technical complexity and potential impact of change.- Assesses technical risk and impact and ensures changes are managed with appropriate rigor.- Maintains abreast of industry changes, and business and technology road maps impacting the direction for Change & Release tool set; integrates applicable changes into current process..- Understands process controls and their interaction with other ITIL disciplines; anticipate quality issues and propose mitigation plan to resolve.- Provides data in support of internal and external audit reviews on the effectiveness of the Configuration Management operations at USAA.- Monitors the progress of a Request for Change and ensures they are adequately closed.- Understands customer's processes and business needs and provides customer service around change and release management tools, process and artifacts**Minimum Education**:- Bachelor's degree.- 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.**Minimum Experience**:- 4 years of release management or project management experience in a technical environment.- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with change release management best practices and of risk management.- Proficient knowledge of COBIT and/or ITIL frameworks.- Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.- Developing knowledge of relevant regulatory compliance standards and industry regulations.
