As an Edison Engineer, you will gain professional development through intensive training and a variety of business-critical assignments, contributing to GE Aerospace Defense & Systems product lines. The program aims to accelerate your professional growth through challenging technical training and diverse assignments, preparing you to innovate and shape the future of flight with GE Aerospace.**Roles and Responsibilities**- Participate in 3 to 4 job rotations over 2 years in various disciplines, including **Software Development, Software Validation, Systems Design, Embedded Software, Controls Systems, Electronic Design, and more.**:- Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from world-class technologists and experienced technical managers.- Engage in leadership development training with **GE Aerospace Defense & Systems** program members from different Engineering teams.- Develop technical problem-solving skills through the prestigious Advanced Course of Engineering (ACE), which includes 1 year of classroom training and 6 months of project-based training.- Contribute to high-profile projects that impact **GE Aerospace Defense & Systems** product lines, working under the supervision of experienced engineers.**Required Qualifications**- Undergraduate or master’s degree in relevant Software Engineering disciplines (e.g., **Computer Science, Digital Systems, Mechatronics**) from an accredited university or college.- Up to 1 year of graduation date/professional experience (other student co-op or internship experience is highly valued).- Demonstrated knowledge in **Software Development, Computer Programming, Embedded Systems, or Avionics** (student projects and degree thesis are highly valued).- ** Strong programming skills, with proficiency in C/C++ languages, and familiarity with code versioning tools, change request, configuration management, and continuous integration tools.**:- Passion for learning and technical growth, with a motivated, curious, and self-driven attitude.- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.- Ability to work effectively in a team, building trust and commitment with colleagues in a high-performance environment.- Resilience and adaptability to fast-paced changes, with the ability to switch between technical disciplines and shorten learning curves.- Demonstrated integrity in all business and academic dealings.- Legal right to work in Mexico.
