**Job Summary**:**Key Responsibilities**:- ** Financial Consolidations**: Lead the consolidation process for a robust financial hierarchy, coordinating storytelling and providing cost insights to internal stakeholders at varying levels within the organization.- ** Reporting**: Develop reporting packages to support our IT Finance team in driving consistency and in preparing financial reports on a specific cadence, enabling them to provide insights for IT leadership presentations.- ** Analysis**: Aid in identifying opportunities for efficiencies and spend reductions based on headcount, contractor, and overall trend analysis. Support annual allocation calculation and operational calendar creation.- ** Process Improvement**: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.- ** Collaboration**: Work across the IT Finance organization; along with working closely with other departments including accounting, treasury, and operations, to gather necessary information and ensure alignment.- ** Leadership**: Mentor and guide junior analysts, providing training and development opportunities.**Qualifications**:- ** Education**: 4-year university degree in finance or accounting (or equivalent)- ** Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, consolidations, and reporting.- ** Skills**: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial software, advanced Excel skills, and excellent communication abilities.- ** Knowledge**: In-depth understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and other accounting standards.- ** Attributes**: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.**Benefits**:- Competitive salary- Health, dental, and vision insurance- Retirement plan with company match- Flexible work environment“Johnson Controls does not request pregnancy or HIV testing as a requirement for admission, permanence or promotion.”
