Deliver value to the business by innovating and standardizing Record to Report (R2R) processes across CEMEX locations. Define an optimized financial reporting and accounting model to ensure compliance, improve operational efficiency, enhance decision-making, and align with CEMEX’s global strategy.**Main Responsibilities**:- Transformation Initiatives: Drive digital transformation in financial closing, reconciliations, and reporting automation, improving operational efficiency and compliance.- Key Performance Indicators: Define and track R2R performance metrics (financial closing cycle time, reporting accuracy, compliance, reconciliation efficiency) to enhance visibility and decision-making.- Operative Model: Develop a standardized financial reporting framework integrating shared service centers, automation tools, and ERP platforms (SAP FICO, BlackLine).- Service Delivery Management: Collaborate with finance teams, external auditors, and service providers to optimize financial reporting processes and ensure compliance with global and local regulations.- Integrated R2R Network: Strengthen collaboration among finance, tax, treasury, and compliance teams to enhance financial reporting accuracy and regulatory adherence.**Position Challenges**:- Standardizing financial processes across different business units and regions.- Ensuring compliance with global accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP).- Integrating automation and AI tools for financial reporting efficiency.- Managing relationships with internal finance teams, auditors, and external service providers.- Driving the transformation of financial planning, consolidation, and reconciliation processes.**Qualifications**:Technical Skills- Expertise in financial reporting, accounting standards, and compliance (IFRS, US GAAP, SOX).- Knowledge of ERP and automation tools (SAP FICO, Hyperion, Power BI).- Financial process optimization and automation.- Data analytics and performance benchmarking for financial operations.- Change management and transformation leadership.Managerial skills- Leadership and strategic decision-making.- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.- Financial process governance and risk management.- Business acumen in financial strategy and planning.- Customer service and problem-solving mindset.**Internal/External Relations**:INTERNAL- GES: GES Directors, VCoE Heads, VCoE Managers, VCoE Subject Matter Experts- Controllership, Treasury, Finance and Administration, Planning: Directors, Managers, Subject Matter Experts- P&IT: Consultants / Managers / Technical Experts- VMO: Performance Advisors / Managers- Internal Control and Process AssessmentEXTERNAL- Service & technology providers- Benchmark & best practices associations**CEMEX Diversity and Inclusion Statement**:At CEMEX, we recognize the diversity of the world in which we live and in which we do business.
