Your tasks The Controls Engineer Specialist is responsible for new technology projects such I4.0 or traceability projects (MES, MDL, etc.), and EOLTs within the plant. Supports EOLT issues, design and validate equipment for new projects or technologies, supports with machine debugging, setup and continuous improvement during the production phase, and support to maintenance dept. with technical expertise. **Profile**: - 5+ years of relevant controls/automation engineering experience within the automotive manufacturing industry. - Bachelor in Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Systems or similar engineering (Masters Degree is a plus). - Fluent English language skills (spoken and written). - Capable of taking a project from concept design through industrialization. - Good communication, Team Player, Problem solving, Leadership, Negotiation and Presentation skills. - Experience in crafting technical specifications, machine requirements, design of experiments and failure analysis. - Previous experience with End of Line Testers desirable. - Programming proficiency with: Siemens (TIA Portal and Simatic Manager), Beckhoff (TwinCAT 2), PLC based systems, HMI software and vision sensors/systems (Labview software is a plus). - Experience with other scripting languages such Python, C, Visual Basic are a plus. - Able to understand electrical and control panel layouts and prints. - Willingness to travel within Mexico and internationally if required (
