The Business Risk Group Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources, policy formulation and planning. Primarily affects a sub-function. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Strong commercial awareness is a necessity.- Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions.- Ensure that emerging risks identified are socialized with key stakeholders and mitigation strategies are in place.- Identify areas of engagement based on level of investment, inherent risk, complexity of change and other risk factors- Execute Risk Control coverage strategy, ensure appropriate risk mitigation actions are in place and escalate to senior management as appropriate- Provide supervision of Risk Control team's efforts and assist with prioritizing and addressing roadblocks encountered- Leverage reporting to identify trends, themes and areas requiring improved controls- Drive Manager's Control Assessment monitoring, quarterly approvals and improvements required**Qualifications**:- 10+ years experience in Risk and people management- Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. The role requires critical thinking and the ability to execute credible challenge and influence stakeholders across different areas without a formal reporting line. The role also requires decision making and strong management skills. This role involves close interaction with Business Management, Business/Function Heads within the 3 Lines of Defense, Citi Regional and Global Key Stakeholders. English is required.Required skillset includes strategy, data analytics, proven initiative, excellent organization and prioritization skills, English proficiency, ability to work under pressure, tight deadlines and with unexpected requirement changes. Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task. The role requires working closely with Global and local Business / Functions Heads, key stakeholders, OGC, ICRM and ORM.**Key responsibilities**:- Contributes to the development, maintenance and implementation of enterprise wide standards and strategies to strengthen and enhance Legacy Franchise (LF) Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) programs.- Facilitate documentation, coordination and tracking of activities and Action Plans associated with the LF design, implementation and oversight of a suitable and sustainable Governance and Operating Model for the adoption of Strategy Risk Management Programs within the 1st LoD across Legacy Franchise and in alignment with Enterprise Risk Management Framework.- Establish a solid interaction model for relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and alignment to Citi Policies / Standards (ERMF).- Provide Strategic Leadership for the design, documentation and execution of LF Material, Top, Emerging, Growing,
