**Job Details****What you will do?**Analyzes transportation options in order to satisfy the desired levels of service and guarantee the optimization of transportation flows at the lowest possible cost.**How you will do it?**- Analyzes transportation options in order to satisfy the desired levels of service and guarantee the optimization of transportation flows at the lowest possible cost.- Plan, schedule and ensure the timely delivery of the company's freight using Oracle Transportation Management System (OTM).- Responsible for the tendering loads, monitoring of planned loads and subsequent ownership of loads for assigned areas.- Provide Logistics support by efficiently communicating shipment details between plants, brands, suppliers, customers and carriers for cost effective on-time deliveries for all modes.- Looking at transportation optimization responsible for developing the most cost-effective method.- Helps maintains SOPs, guidelines and supporting logistics information for users.- Provides frequent, close collaboration with third party service providers of transportation services.- Helps with the supplier onboarding process to optimize inbound freight to JCI plants, distribution centers and drop shipments.- Works closely with the Logistics Procurement team to provide research and cost modeling for negotiating rates with carriers to fully use the resources of JCI.- Work closely with planning department to schedule shipment and deliveries.- Responsible to coordinate all the inbound and outbound shipments.- Manage transportation for suppliers from Mexico and US.- Other duties as assigned, such as transportation compliance audits, KPI reporting, and project support.**What are we looking for?**- University degree (supply chain management, transportation, logistics, business, or related field preferred) and 1 year suggested minimum experience.- Experience operating Transportation Management Systems (TMS).- Experience in the freight industry, including TL, LTL and parcel- Ability to plan, think ahead, and prepare action plans to achieve results- Good verbal communication skills.- Language: English
