Be a part of our journeySr Production Planner plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle. Works from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements. Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. Provides input to management; schedules and/or interfaces with marketing, sales, production and engineering managers. Works to resolve (in case of design changes) labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions. Oversees the master schedules and ensures comprehensive compliance with materials requirements for manufacturing**Your day to day**- Performs analysis of sales forecasting demand, sales history and historical production preparing the Master Production plan in the areas in charge signing ASCP on the plan according to analysis- Analyzes demand Rhythms sales vs Forecast and proposes changes, manages statistical controls to take decisions- Checks out the capacity, resources and equipment required for production lines in a business unit to comply with the Master Plan Production- Monitors deals from operations, determines best delivery dates and business impact, cost-benefit analysis and ROI- Elaborates periodic review of the availability of raw materials required to proper performance of production plan, monitors and communicates exceptions that could affect its compliance- Maintains constant communication with commodity managers and providers- Maintains an adequate inventory level for high volume products, timely executes opening of work orders and provides required priorities to production floor- Maintains a proper routine for updating key parameters in system (Order Modifiers, Key Item Attributes, Bill of Materials, scrap account alias, WIP class, ship class, departments, WIP Inventory)- Timely communicates to the customer service department shipment dates of client order’s, exceptions and expends recovery plan if needed- Actively participates in high performance team- Periodically reviews inventory levels of raw material and subassemblies required in RIP and maintains data in system- Updates NPI portfolios and tact’s projects by business units- Actively participates in the development of required tasks from introduction of new products to the process of end-of-life products, supports the success of projects, ensures safe transitions with lowest cost of waste for the company- Awareness of the environmental management system and environmental goals and impacts.**What you bring to the team**- Bachelor degree in any of the following areas: Industrial Engineer, Information, Systems or similar- Knowledge of APICS, Six Sigma (green belt) and Lean Manufacturing certification- Proficiency (+90%)- MS Office and MS Project or similar tools.- Strong knowledge in ERP models (Oracle desirable- Oracle- +5 years’ experience in Planning area and NPI- Extensive knowledge of inventory control system and MRP/ ERP/ APS system, advanced knowledge of statistical methods- Strong knowledge in production control process- Strong Communication skills (listening, builds strong relationships, open-minded, negotiates effectively, solicits performance feedback and handles constructive criticism)**Our Culture**At Poly, leadership principles aren't just something we talk about, they're something we live and breathe.
