Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor

Performs and provides leadership for typical manufacturing engineering functions including process design, layout design, facilitate Kaizen activities, quality support, ergonomics and safety.- Practical experience performing program management tasks and effectively manages all aspects of the program launch. (APQP, PFMEA, control plans, plant layout, tooling & equipment design, development & implementation, facility deployment, etc.).- Technically competent in a wide variety of engineering areas. High degree of organization skills in a highly complex environment.- Knowledge to work in Oracle ambient, manage changes, updates and all activities related with the internal system to new projects implementations and continuous improvement process.- Participates and leads process improvement projects: NPD, line transfers, safety, productivity, quality, ergonomics, etc.- Ensures the plant’s equipment and process document readiness to launch successful new parts.- Manage multiple challenging projects that are technical in complexity, from conception of idea through to implementation into production.- Ensures all company policies, procedures, plant standards, and safety rules are consistently adhered to, in actual process and new implementations.- Ensures the thoroughness and timely completion of scheduled performance reviews for all new developments and project implementations, within the assigned business units.- Works safely and follows all the company's safety policies and procedures and ensure the correct implementation in all projects.- Maintenance, storage, and accessibility of all files and information used and produced by the Engineering Manufacturing department, Process documentation, Specifications, and technical files.- Handles design responsibilities along with other engineers assigned to the project.- Manage and Reviews capital, budgets of multiple projects, tracking all expenses, control all process from the requisition, purchase order to material/service reception.- Manage daily operations of team members supporting manufacturing, new developments.- Prepares and presents cost justifications, equipment specification and design options, project plans, support information for new developments and implementations.- Actively participate in day-to-day VSM meetings of each of the business segments, and positively contribute to the Engineering team, driving engagement activities.- Lead the continuous improvement activities, ensuring that all activities of engineering department are executed according to lean principles and use tools to solve issues as a daily activity.About Regal RexnordRegal Rexnord Corporation (“Regal Rexnord”) is a leading manufacturer of electric motors, electrical motion controls, power generation and mechanical power transmission products and sub-systems, serving customers around the world in the general industrial, consumer, commercial construction, food & beverage, and alternative energy end markets, among others.
