Visión general:The Packaging Engineer position will provide creative, technical, and project support in planning, development, coordinating, communicating, and executing new packaging development and improvement projects. The individual will be responsible for development, innovative and cost-effective packaging to address company objectives. In addition, be responsible for the coordination and development of all packaging components and specifications, implementation into production, and support equipment.**Responsabilidades**:- Design, document, and evaluate packaging for new product development and existing products- Provide engineering and logistic support for product packaging from concept through production and distribution- Provide packaging support role to Senior & R&D Staff- Work with corporate packaging engineering as required meeting project deliverables and testing needs- Develops line trial protocols and writes trial reports, SOP’s and specifications- Review supplier print card and component specificationsRequisitios:- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent- 2-4 years in package engineering or equivalent- Knowledgeable with ArtiosCAD, CapePack, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)- Knowledgeable with ISTA, TAPPI, and ASTM test methods for packaging- Knowledge of package engineering, shock, vibration and cushioning- Proven analytical/problem-solving skills and demonstrated creativity- Ability to work with other functions and in teams- Strong communication, interpersonal, and writing skills- Ability to travel up to 5%- Ability to lift products/package testing up to 50 pounds- English language skills requiredEEO Statement:Declaración de Igualdad de Oportunidades de Empleo: AS Maquila México S. de R.L. de C.V. y American Standard B&K México, son empleadores que ofrecen igualdad de oportunidades.
