Responsible for achieving Supplier Delivery Performance by giving proper follow and avoiding any supplier line´s disruptions due to lack of packaging. What you can look forward to as Packaging Engineer? Researching and analyzing materials and packaging solutions for current and new projects. Achieving due dates so that all suppliers returnable/expandable packaging is developed and approved according to all New Programs’ gates due dates. Designing and testing prototypes, conducting packaging performance tests. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including Program Managers, manufacturing, New Launches, and quality control to meet due dates. Managing timelines and budgets. Identifying areas for improvement in packaging solutions – proposing best solutions by optimizing packaging and reducing costs (savings). Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and customer requirements. Your Profile as Packaging Engineer: A minimum of two (2) years of work experience in a similar role. Knowledge of KanBan, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing. Analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data and make recommendations. Creativity, including the ability to develop innovative packaging solutions.
