Fills calibration service reports and enters the obtained information in the system. The activities of this position require de direct supervision of the Senior Calibration Technician.**You will be responsible for**:- Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position: Techniques- Performs calibrations to dimensional equipment using equipment such as optical comparator, vision system and/or pattern blocks.- Performs calibration to equipment which indicates pressure and temperature with a moderate degree of difficulty and by using the Standards, thermocouples and connectors indicated by the Senior Calibration Technician.- Calibrates scales, timers and tachometers by using the standards indicated by the Senior Calibration Technician. Documentation:- Records the readings obtained in the measuring on the calibration certificates.- Follows the calibration procedures to perform his/her tasks.- Enters the information of the calibration certificates in the system (PILGRIM).- Labels and identifies the equipment in which he/she performs calibration.- Follows the Good Manufacturing Practices procedures (GMPs).- Applies the regulations stated by the metrology international standards such as ISO 17025, Guide 25, ANSI and others. Organization:- Maintains his/her place of work clean and organized.- Can provide technical assistance and guidance to lower level technicians.- Provides support and follows instructions from the Calibration Senior and Principal Technicians.- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level- Responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures- Performs other duties assigned as needed**Qualifications** Requirements and Education**:- Technical studies: Electromechanical Technician or Instrumentalist Technician.- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience with measuring equipment such as optical comparator, vision systems, micrometers, verniers, pattern blocks, pressure and temperature standards, speed, time and dead weight, voltage generator, current and frequency.**Knowledge and Skill Sets**:- Knowledge of Mechanics and Electricity.- Basic knowledge of Metrology International Regulations.- Reading and interpretation of mechanical and electrical blueprints.Primary Location: Ciudad JuarezReporting to: SENIOR MAINTENANCE AND CALIBRATION**Primary Location**Mexico-Chihuahua-Juarez- **Organization**Cordis de Mexico S.A. de C.V.
