**Position Summary**: The Gear Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the overall technical effectiveness of gear manufacturing operations as well as taking a leadership role in PPAP activity for gear manufacturing to qualify new parts and equipment.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:- Develop gear cutting processes for new and existing parts, including specifying all related tooling, work holding, routing steps, process requirements, and work instructions.- Ability to review gear prints and determine required cutting tools (hobs, shaper cutters, diamonds, and grinding wheels) and design work holding and fixturing for manufacturing to obtain required quality and optimal processing.- Train and develop production personnel to be proficient in the gear cutting and measurement processes.- Provide technical support, problem solving, and process improvement leadership related to gear manufacturing processes and equipment.- Assists in the inspection, planning, and quality control of gear making. Ability to interpret gear analytical inspection charts and outputs and determine necessary process adjustments to make to obtain acceptable parts.- Able to provide manufacturing support and process development for grinding and induction hardening of geared components.**Required Qualifications**:- BS in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent technical experience.- 3-5 years of experience in gear manufacturing and machining- Ability to analyze gear cutting parameters and cutting tool designs.- Knowledge of materials, cutting tools, work holding, cutting parameters, heat treat, grinding, and inspection as related to gear manufacturing.- Ability to read blueprints, including interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.- Must have hands-on ability to directly set up and operate hobbing and shaping equipment and train others to do so.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: $36,000.00 - $65,000.00 al mesHorario:- Turno de 10 horasPrestaciones:- Estacionamiento de la empresa- Seguro de gastos médicos mayores- Seguro de vida- Vales de despensaPregunta(s) de postulación:- ¿Tienes Visa vigente?- ¿Tienes Pasaporte Vigente?Idioma:- Inglés (Obligatorio)Lugar de trabajo: In person
