You will experience these qualities of passion, pride and aspiration in many ways — from a rich set of career development programs to support of community service projects to social events that foster fun and relationship building across our global community.## **The Role**Aspen Technology is looking for individuals to join our growing Product Quality Team to play the role of Principal Software Quality Engineer including functional and nonfunctional testing (Performance and Test Automation testing) testing of Aspen Products providing next generation Engineering, Manufacturing and Asset Optimization solutions. This is your opportunity to play an important role in this cutting-edge transformation. We are looking for a Quality Engineer with a good understanding of software development practices, to help us create and execute testing approaches for our market-leading products. This individual will create test strategies from concept, design, implementation, testing, documentation, support, and maintenance while assuring that the product line conforms to established requirements and standards. This individual will also be responsible for gathering functional requirements, information and data to proactively drive best practices from a quality perspective into the product while collaborating with R&D and Product Management. This individual is responsible for creating automated scripts and performance benchmarking and scalability, understanding of SAAS performance testing aspects a plus.## **Your Impact*** Deliver a high-quality product by creating test plans, test strategy and procedures (including test environments, installation, upgrades, and configuration) in accordance with the technical specifications.* A thought leader in executing new test procedures (functional, regression, integration, performance) by simulating customer environment and product usage.* Engage & communicate with internal stakeholders to understand projects and expectations and then manage those projects: resources, turnaround-time, scheduling, deadlines and related project constraints.* Ability to systematically analyze and solve typical technical problems with some guidance.* Drive test automation for API, UI, System, Integration, performance benchmarking and scalability.* Measure performance scalability and stress testing using load runner, JMeter, VSTS tools, K6, Grafana.* Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.* Engage with cross functional defect/enhancements reviews & triage meetings.* Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.* Knowledge of Machine Learning- Prescriptive, predictive maintenance and machine learning algorithms.* Knowledge of Automation Software Testing tools like Selenium in C#, JAVA and Python is desirable.## What You'll Need* BS or MS in a field related to Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, or Computer Science.* 10+ years of experience in validating complex software testing projects.* Ability to create automated scripts for WPF, Web applications, basic programming, e.g., Python.* Working experience with test automation, performance, databases, and test tools is desirable.* Experience in & knowledgeable of software development methodologies cycle is a plus.* Knowledge of data science and Artificial intelligence techniques is a plus.* Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (in English).* Demonstrated ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.* Willingness to learn a range of business or technical specialties based on business needs.* recruitment information such as your application form and resume, references, qualifications and membership of any professional bodies and details of any pre-employment assessments;* your contact details and date of birth;* your gender;* your marital status and family details;* your identification documents including passport and driver's license and information in relation to your immigration status and right to work with us;* information about your contract of employment (or services) including start and end dates of employment, role and location, working hours, details of promotion, salary (including details of previous remuneration), pension, benefits, and holiday entitlement;* your racial or ethnic origin;* any criminal convictions and offences. #J-18808-Ljbffr
