We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **Cloud Dev Ops Engineer**Principal Accountabilities:- **AWS Dev Ops Skills**:- Strong knowledge of AWS networking, i.e. NAT gateway, VPC, DNS, VPC Endpoints/ENI/PrivateLink, etc.)- Strong knowledge of AWS EC2 (i.e. AMI, user data, auto-scaling, etc.), S3, RDS- Strong knowledge of AWS load balancing (i.e. ELB, ALB, NLB, etc.)- Strong knowledge of Terraform for infra as code. Version 14+- Strong knowledge of AWS API gateway (i.e. configure new resources, methods, deploy via stages, etc.)- Strong knowledge of Configuration management tools, IaaC tools- Strong knowledge of AWS CloudWatch (i.e. creating log groups, searching logs in existing log groups, metrics, event alerts, scheduling, etc.)- Strong knowledge of AWS CloudTrail- Strong knowledge of AWS IAM, Fargate- **GCP DevOps skills**:- Set up and maintain development and production environments in GCP- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance- Develop and maintain scripts and tools to manage GCP resources- Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans- Networking and load balancing in GCP- GCP resource management and cost optimization- Troubleshoot and debug GCP related issues- Cross functional collaboration and communication- Programming knowledge in Python, PowerShell, Java or Go- Knowledge of IaC tools - Terraform, CloudFormation or Google Cloud Deployment Manager- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes containers- Utilize CI/CD pipeline tools: GitHub, Jenkins- Familiarity with GCP services like Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Storage and Big Query- Familiarity with PostgresSQLRequirements- **General skills Must Have**:- 8-10 years AWS (Amazon Web Services) and/or GCP (Google Cloud Platform) expertise- Experience designing and implementing automated solutions for deploying and managing cloud services- Proven track record developing automation scripts, improving efficiency, resilience and reliability- Strong knowledge of Jenkins (i.e. be able to deploy via existing pipelines, modify/config existing pipelines, etc.)- Strong knowledge of GIT- Strong knowledge of agile concepts and tools (JIRA, Confluence, Scrum, Kanban, etc.)- Strong knowledge of Scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)- Familiarity with security and compliance best practices- Responsibilities for debugging, testing, supporting implementation life cycle in Saas/Paas cloud solutions with containerization- **Should Have**- Familiarity with AWS lambda (i.e. how to configure, writing simple functions, etc.)- Familiarity with AWS forward and reverse proxy services/patterns- Familiarity with Splunk, AppDynamics- **Nice to Have**- Ability to code and deploy Spring boot RESTful APIs using Java 8+, Git Hub/ Maven, Tomcat, Microservices, Sonar, JUnit/Mockito, Docker- Container orchestration/management experience (Kubernetes/EKS, Aws ECS, etc.)- Familiarity with AWS Cognito- Familiarity with AWS RDS, Aurora; especially from config perspective
