The Process Engineer works effectively with all levels of production workforce & manufacturing management to troubleshoot problems and implement changes quickly and efficiently.**Position Functions**- Analyze & plan work force utilization, space requirements and workflow- Design layout of equipment, workspace and mechanical fixtures, jigs, etc. for maximum efficiency and safety as part of Lean manufacturing program- Confer with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of materials, equipment, supplies, etc.- Estimate production times, staffing requirements and related costs to provide information for management decisions- Develop Quality difinitions and requirements.- Must be able to see color.**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**:- Four year degree from an accredited university- Minimum of 3 years experience in a technical and manufacturing environment- Experience with software systems used to monitor manufacturing work flow- Experience with mechanical measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, drop gauges, gauge blocks, etc.- Proficiency in all office/business software (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)- Knowledge of time studies and statistical methods and Printing process and Book production.- 100% bilingual- visa and passportTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: $22,000.00 - $25,000.00 al mesHorario:- Turno de 8 horasEducación:- Licenciatura terminada (Deseable)
