.**Guy Carpenter** is the world's premier reinsurance intermediary and strategic advisor to leading insurance and reinsurance organizations, delivering integrated solutions through its industry-leading analytics and advisory services, highly specialized product knowledge and trading relationships with reinsurance markets around the world.This is a hybrid role which requires working at least three days a week in the office.**What can you expect?**Broker II manages all aspects of new, renewal and prospective business including the marketing and solicitation of accounts and the preparation/presentation of research, financial analysis, client and reinsurer presentations, budget and revenue exhibits, formal documentation execution, management of accounting/claims/contract issues.**What´s in it for you?**- Join an outstanding professional services firm with more than 150 years of history - we are 76,000 colleagues in four global businesses united by a common purpose to make a difference in the moments that matter.- Work with Reinsurance professionals with experience and technical knowledge- Gain significant experience of working within a technical capacity for a Broker- Be part of a global business that works with clients of all sizes to define, design and deliver innovative solutions to better quantify and manage risks.**We will count on you to**:**New Business Development**- Develop and present new/renewal/prospective presentations to clients and reinsurers.- Produce new clients and design programs for them, establish relationships through meetings, exhibit professional skills, and entertain in order to generate revenue.**Project Management**- Oversee the timely production of appropriate account/program documents.- Liaise with Guy Carpenter service departments to ensure the proper level of client service and timely flow of business process.- Monitor the follow-up on contract documentation, ensuring the timely flow of materials.**Business Retention**- Design new programs for clients’ needs, placing business with client-approved reinsurers- Respond to client queries and concerns, resolving issues promptly.- Establish and maintain strong relationships with reinsurers, clients, colleagues, and Marsh.**Budget**- Manage expenses, time, services, etc. in order to maximize GC profits.**Documentation**- Document all external correspondence and telephone conversations in accordance with GC procedures, including where appropriate, GC Professional Standards guidelines, minimizing the potential for errors and omissions.**Business Knowledge**- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of reinsurer capabilities (product lines, capacity, approvals, etc), with the help of Market Information Department, Legal Department, and other departments as necessary**What you need to have**:- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) 4 Year College Degree in Accounting, Finance or Actuarial Sciences- Up to 7-8 years of Professional experience related experience with the ability to deal with moderately complex accounts and mid-sized generating clients.- Thorough knowledge of insurance/reinsurance concepts and terms for developing and placing reinsurance programs, preparing placement slips and cover notes, and drafting or amending new and existing contracts.- Strong interpersonal skills for establishing and maintaining good client, reinsurer and internal relationships.- Strong verbal and writing skills for complex communications (presentations, negotiations, etc.) with clients, markets and GC colleagues at many levels.- Expertise to prioritize workload according to volume, urgency, etc.- Proficiency in finding creative solutions to new problems, as they arise.- Skilfullness ability to be organized and pay attention to detail.- Strong computer skills for using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).- Competence to maintain compliance with professional standards, where applicable, as well as company-wide quality initiatives.- Mastery to address client needs by accessing and organizing resources.- Capability to manage clients and help them address issues proactively.- Talent to understand clients' business industry.- Aptitude to work as part of a team to support clients' needs.- Acumen to handle significant workflow through efficient time management.- Efficiency to challenge appropriately - supports case with facts and information.- ** English proficiency.****What makes you stand out**:- Strong ability to seek ways to streamline and improve current processes.- Assist in and play a role in client presentations.- Demonstrate commitment to clients and helps them address issues proactively.- Show skills at identifying and solving potential problems in their specialty and develops**Why join our team**:- We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.- We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented col
