**Trade Finance Specialist****America Steel Trade Corporation** is an international trading company headquartered in North Miami, Florida. AST specializes in sourcing, importing, and distributing steel products to the North, Central and South American Markets.Who are we looking for:A motivated and self-driven individual who has significant communication skills, specialist in Commercial Trade Finance, preferably in the Steel Industry. You have the freedom, trust and support to experiment and solve complex challenges.**Main Responsibilities**- Management of day to day tasks including letter of credit negotiation, drafts forfeiting, trade finance and supply chain finance.- Processing of all letters of credit (import and export - issue, advise amendment, acceptance, discount, payment, discrepancies, checking documents) and maintaining a regular dialogue with bank's operation team.- Evaluation and recommendation of trade finance products- Managing onboarding and KYC process for new counterparties- Regular reporting on cash and facility usage, including review of bank costs, products and contracts.- Overseeing cash across all banks- Establishing a good working relationship with traders, operations and finance team- Process controller managing on-going automation projects and technological advancements- Assist finance team for managing and developing the Company's relationship with Trade Finance banks**Requirements**:- Bachelor degree in economics, banking / finance, or equivalent- Minimum 5+ years' experience in a Trade Finance / Treasury role. Prior experience within an international commodity trading house, Steel Industry is preferred or a Bank.- Good understanding of the Commodity Trade Finance Business, including, but not limited to, Letters of Credit, Trade Guarantees, Bonds, Collections, ARP, Factoring, Supplier finance.- Fluent in English and Spanish.**Job Type**: Full timePay: From $16,680.00 per month**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)**Experience**:- trade finance: 5 years (required)**Language**:- Spanish (preferred)- English (preferred)
