Sustainability is integral to our business and we are going Way Beyond Good to create a net positive food packaging system.**SUMMARY ROLE**:Responsible for guaranteeing the reliability of the measurement system at the in-process and laboratory equipment in order to meet the specifications of the finished product.**KEY RESPONSABILITIES**: LResponsible for calibrating, validating, or maintaining laboratory equipment and quality control devices before usage.Responsible for the compilation of test data from in-process and laboratory quality control equipment to perform appropriate analyses.Generate and monitor indicators related to the Quality Maintenance Pillar aiming at the continuous improvement of the Measurement System Analysis (MSA).Responsible for identifying and troubleshooting equipment problems and ensure that safety standards and cleanliness of in-process and laboratory quality control equipment are maintained.Provide training to other analysts or operators to perform in-process and laboratory procedures and assays.Participate in internal assessments and audits where necessary and carry out audits of compliance with the quality control plan and conduct material testing online.Conduct assessment on new technologies and methods to make recommendations regarding their usage.Report or conduct investigation on questionable test results during the process or due to customer complaints.Act proactively and sustainably, aiming to be aware of the environmental impacts arising from the activity and seeking to minimize them, as well as being committed to the environmental policy established by the company to ensure compliance with the SIG Combibloc standards.Comply with and work in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice rules to ensure the production of safe packaging for customers and consumers, as well as correctly perform all quality procedures under their responsibility to ensure compliance with SIG Combibloc standards.**YOU BRING THESE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION**: L3-5 years of experience in similar roleHigher Education degree in Engineering (Chemical, Food, Production), Chemical and / or Industrial Engineering.In-depth understanding of concepts and principles in own discipline and a basic knowledge of these elements in other disciplinesEvaluates situations using multiple sources of informationImpact by ensuring the quality of the task/services/information provided by self and othersIntermediate EnglishAdvanced Microsoft OfficeAdvanced Statistical Process ControlIntermediate Risk Analysis (FMEA, HACCP)Advanced Quality tools (8D, A3, Pareto, SPC, MSA, etc)Basic Lean ManagementBasic Food Safety ManagementAdvanced Problem-Solving AnalysisIntermediate ISO/ BRC GS/ FDAFollow, develop, and continuously improve processes to achieve a high level of quality of work.Know the needs of internal and external customers and find suitable solutions for both.Overcomes obstacles and does not give up even in case of setbacks.
