The Science & Enabling Units IT is AZ’s global IT capability function supporting key business areas operating out of sites across the US, UK, Sweden, India & Mexico.We are looking for data analyst who will leverage tools & technology best practices to improve delivery performance & data engineering capabilities in the Data & Analytics space.**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Proven working experience as a data analyst/business data analyst- Interpret data, process data, analyze results and provide ongoing reports- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize data efficiency and quality- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs- Strong knowledge of databases (SQL, Amazon Redshift, S3, Oracle etc.) and experience with data integration tools (ETL) (Talend, Informatica, SSIS, etc.)- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy- Adept at queries, scripts, stored procedures, report writing and presenting findings- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities**MANDATORY SKILLS**:- Any Database skills like SQL, Oracle, Redshift, Netezza, Teradata, etc.- Database SQL Scripting- Python Scripting- UNIX / Linux Platforms- Data Integration/ETL basic knowledge- Good written and verbal skills- Willing to work in a cross-cultural environment- An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving- Attention to detail**DESIRED SKILLS**:- AWS cloud and Amazon S3 experience- Any ETL tools experience like Talend, Informatica, SQL Server Integration Services, etc.- ITIL knowledge- Working in a support and maintenance project
