**Role Summary**:The Cost Estimator will go to provide quotations in a timely manner, as well as evaluate alternatives to provide competitive pricing while ensuring margins according to each market, follow up on the hit rate of quotations to quantify the value of orders entered versus quoted, seeking continuous improvement in the processes he/she performs.He is responsible for complying with applicable international standards and taking care of the preservation of the environment in the activities he performs.**Responsibilities**:- Comply with the Pure Safety program according to the dates established by the corporate.- Comply with Flowserve mandatory trainings such as ethics, diversity, import and export compliance programs.- Have zero accidents and report any unsafe act or condition through the system.- Comply with the established response time for quotations.- Support the CS (Customer Service) area in feasibility requests and quotations.- Record and follow up the hit rate of quotations.- Generate alternatives to reach target prices established by the customers.- Receive any follow up audits in compliance with applicable audit requirements- Continuously update Flowserve's product offerings- Ensure that assigned CARs are closed within 30 days or less- Ensure minimum margins according to each market.- Provide CS area with pricing for invoicing when they are not registered in contracts.- Other duties as assigned.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree or diploma in relevant field and 1-2 years of relevant experience.- Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, advanced Excel, Teams, Sharepoint)- Advanced English- Knowledge of SAP system- Ability to deal with complex contexts, efficiently planning the availability of materials.- Strong organizational skills- Adaptable and flexible- Demonstrate responsibility and customer service**Preferable**:- Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering degree or diploma.- Experience in industrial engineering**Req ID** : R-10308**Job Family Group** : Logistics**Job Family** : LO Materials PlanningEOE including Disability/Protected Veterans.
