Multinational paper & adhesives manufacturing company is looking for his new Strategic BuyerYour new companyMultinational luxury paper & adhesives manufacturing company based in Mexico City.Your new roleAs Strategic Buyer you will supervise raw materials demands working with the supply chain team driving negotiations on best commercial conditions and quality with a 35MM USD spend, supervise deliveries and perform cost break down analysis, manage business suppliers reviewing vendor capabilities and performance, negotiate commercial conditions, you will handle target best scenarios executing and deploying the strategy for the rest of the company, you will monitor the commercial agreements formalised in purchase orders, generate strategic sourcing creating strategies for dual sources, commodity strategy road map, resourcing, between others, contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of procurement processes, manage good communication aligned with the region, contribute to the evolution of KPIs reporting and working closely with main stakeholders in supply chain, operations, finance and product management.What you´ll need- Bachelor´s Degree concluded.- Experience of 2 - 5 years in purchasing department managing commodities such as paper, petrochemicals derivates, packaging, and indirect goods.- Proven record of implementation of cost saving strategies, implementing resourcing, cost break down analysis and negotiating commercial conditions.- Project management skills, analytical approach, and capability to process information with precision.- Strong negotiation and cost-benefit analysis skills.- Initiative, proactivity, high energy and ability to adapt to changing environments.- ERP Knowledge is desirable.- Advanced English.What you´ll get in return40.000 + Superior Law Benefits**What you need to do now**If this job isn't quite right for you but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion on your career. #
