De C.V.Come join a team where People make the difference As a part of Marmon Holdings, Inc., a highly decentralized organization, we rely heavily on people with the aptitude, attitude, and entrepreneurial spirit to drive our success, and we're committed to attracting and retaining top talent.Under the direct supervision of the Manufacturing Manager performs corrective and preventative maintenance of facility and production equipment.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**- Perform corrective & preventative maintenance of facility and production equipment.- Prioritize requests and meet specified response times for work performed.- Coordinate with the Manufacturing Supervisor the maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery.- Manage and coordinate all outsourcing contacts.- Direct responsibility of purchasing maintenance-related equipment/supplies.- Maintain vendor contacts for machine and building maintenance.- Coordinate with outsourcing companies for any building maintenance issues.- Develop, implement, and maintain cost-saving maintenance initiatives.- All other duties assigned by management.**COMPETENCY**:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:- Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully.- Technical Skills - Demonstrated mechanical and electrical ability- Motivation - Displays creativity and expertise in meeting difficult demands.- Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. May require individuals to interpret fastener drawings and specifications.- Team Work - Contributes to building a positive team spirit; committed to working in a quality environment.- Innovation - Displays original thinking and creativity; Generates suggestions for improving work.- Quality Focus - Must understand quality requirements of products produced; Demonstrate orientation toward producing conforming product first time every time.**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**- Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or related field necessary.- Minimum of 5 years industry experience in a facilities maintenance role;- Hands-on experience running a Maintenance Department.
