**OBJECTIVE**:Plans, organizes, directs and controls all the production activities to assure that the production of goods and/or services meet volume, quality and cost requirements within the established timeframe in an efficient manner.**MAIN FUNCTIONS**:**_2. _**Directly responsible for the Production Program and for the levels of efficiency, observing the requirements established by Quality as well as controlling scrap.**_3._** Supervises the Preparation of Reports on Production and Completion Dates.**_4._** Supervises or Evaluates Procedures designed to upgrade Production Methods, Equipment Utilization and the Quality of Finished Goods.**_5. _**Plans Investigations to determine the Effectiveness of Manpower utilization and Projects Labor and Staffing needs.**_6._** Advises Management on Production Problems.**_7. _**Formulates, Negotiates and Manages the Department’s Objectives and Budgets, as well as the Strategies and Action Plans to achieve those Objectives.**_8. _**Validates and Authorizes Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of the Production Function.**_9._** Responsible for Selecting, Training, Motivating and Developing the Manufacturing as well as acting as a Facilitator. Responsible for Promoting and Maintaining Inter-departmental harmony.**REQUIREMENTS**:- **Educational requirements**:Engineering or Professional Degree- **Experience required**:More than 3 Years in the Management of Production- **Level of english fluency**:Intermediate/advanced- **Computer Usage**:- Requires knowledge of manufacturing systems, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), MRP, MTM, new product introduction process, Re-Engineering Processes, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Cost Reduction, Project Management, ISO/QS, Environmental and Safety Standards, etc.- Requires Leadership, Negotiating and Team Building Skills.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoTipo de jornada:- Diurno
