We prioritize clear communication, easy collaboration, and agile development processes.This position plays a crucial role in managing the IT infrastructure, ensuring 24/7 access to client’s employees.Responsibilities include infrastructure, network and security management.**Responsibilities**:Infrastructure Management:Manage Active Directory services, including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Services, to facilitate seamless user authentication and resource accessibility.Manage Entra ID/Microsoft 365 with an emphasis on security.Administer the backup and recovery infrastructure, ensuring seamless and efficient data protection processes.Administer the business continuity/disaster recovery infrastructure, ensuring the preparedness of the system.Respond to security incidents and provide support during investigations.Perform patching and upgrading of Windows server, appliances, and hardware.Develop and maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.Provide escalated helpdesk support and mentor helpdesk staff.Network and Security ManagementWork with an IT MSP partner to manage a Cisco-based network, firewall and VPN infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity and optimal performance.Monitor and investigate security related alerts and phishing attempts. Report threats to security vendors to quarantine or isolate threats.Monitor and optimize Wi-Fi network performance, addressing any issues to guarantee uninterrupted wireless connectivity for users.Additional:Documentation, Collaboration, and Continuous ImprovementActively contribute technical solutions and documentation, ensuring that new issues and solutions are thoroughly documented to aid the team in efficiently addressing similar problems in the future.Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend upgrades or improvements to ensure a competitive edge.Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement IT solutions that enhance efficiency and creativity in design workflows.Assist other team members to help balance the IT workload and serve as an escalation point to fellow support staff.Develop and maintain a close working relationship with the IT team and end users.Be continuously alert and responsive to the ever-evolving needs of the firm.Preferred Experience:Using/Managing/Administering:PowerShell ScriptingVeeam Backup & RecoveryVeeam OrchestratorExaGrid Backup StorageNetApp FAS StorageVMware vSphere 7Microsoft 365 or Entra ID (Azure AD)Duo SecurityCisco FirepowerSophos Endpoint Protection & MDRMicrosoft SQL ServerMicrosoft ExchangeSalary range is $55,000 to $65,000 Mexican Pesos NET as a contractor (No Benefits)Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 al mesHorario:- Turno de 8 horasLugar de trabajo: Empleo remoto
