As part of NXP’s Automotive Microcontroller and Processors' group, the Applications Engineers (AE) represent the primary technical interface between our R&D organization and our Field Applications and Sales engineering teams directly working with customers worldwide. Highly motivated and with strong technical expertise they ensure that NXP devices are designed into and well supported in the latest cutting edge designs from our customers.**Specific Knowledge/Skills**- Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering or similar is required- Embedded C and Assembly language programming knowledge required- Intermediate understanding of Microcontrollers, Microprocessors and general purpose peripherals (Timers, ADCs, CAN, serial communications, etc.). ARM Cortex-M, is a plus.- Knowledge on RTOS basics/intermediate level- Knowledge on Analog and Sensors basic/intermediate level- Basic understanding of schematic and layout- Advance English and Spanish communication skills (verbal & written)- Efficient communication in a local and global multi-cultural environments- Collaborative, proactive, self-learning and team player attitude is a must**Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations**- Perform validation of key IP blocks to ensure that the defined functionality is properly met and documentation is properly created.- Collaborate with other teams to improve our offering enhancing our Customer’s experience- Collaborate and participate in:- Development/revision of documentation- Writing/reviewing Application Notes- Testing software versions, stacks and available operating systems- Creating and providing trainings (in English and Spanish)- Testing silicon modules and software drivers- Working on projectsTipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Por tiempo indeterminadoBeneficios:- Caja de ahorro- Estacionamiento de la empresa- Horarios flexibles- Seguro de gastos médicos- Seguro de gastos médicos mayores- Seguro dental- Seguro de vida- Vacaciones superiores a las de ley- Vales de despensaHorario:- Horario flexible- Lunes a viernes
