**Job format: REMOTE****Position**: full-time, salary paid in USD**About us**:At Cattle Care we increase revenue of dairy farms and decrease GHG emissions, antibiotics, and hormone usage. We secured $3.2M in funding from serial angel investors, VCs, and domain experts.We have 115 dairy farms and $2.9M ARR. Our customers and users are dairy farm owners and managers.**Job description**:We are looking for a detail-oriented video technician with experience in camera configuration, quality control, and troubleshooting video systems remotely.**Responsibilities**:- Camera configuration updates- Camera crop, quality adjustments- Quality controls on the video footage (looking out for video freezes, lags, short)- Pulling footage from remote Network Video Recorders (using Teamviewer or FFMPEG)- Troubleshooting and repairing systems remotely.- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and follow-through- Workday in Central Standard Time (8 AM to 5 PM, flexible)**Skills to have**:- Linux terminal, SSH- Git (Gitlab)- Network Configuration- Computer Hardware- High attention to detail- Excellent note taking, annotation- Critical thinking in solving technical problems- Methodical and logical approach- Conversational English is required (internal communication with English-speaking team)**Would be great**:- Linux administration- Experience dealing with FFMPEG, codecs (H.264, H.265, AV1), video containers (.mp4,.avi,.mkv)**Education**:- High school or equivalent**This job Is ideal for someone who is**:- Dependable - more reliable than spontaneous- Detail-oriented - would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture- Organized - keeps detailed records, documents and information- Process driven - able to closely follow guidelines and checklists to get jobs completePay: $20,000.00 - $30,000.00 per month**Experience**:- working in a terminal (CLI) in Linux: 1 year (required)- troubleshooting remote computer systems: 1 year (required)- working with IP camera systems, NVRs: 1 year (required)**Language**:- English (required)
